main series, Fushigi Yuugi is about Suzaku and Seiryuu. And Fushigi Yuugi Genbu
Kaiden is about Genbu

Do you know Fushigi Yuugi? Anyways, Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden is side story of Fushigi Yuugi.
Fushigi Yuugi is about the four Japanese Gods... Suzaku(Phoenix), Seiryuu(Green Dragon), Byakou(White Tiger) and Genbu(Combination of a turtle and snakes). The main series, Fushigi Yuugi is about Suzaku and Seiryuu. And Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden is about Genbu
Sigh... People who watched the anime first will think that the anime is better
As for people like us who read the manga first, we will think that the anime is really... bad...
The manga is much funner than the anime
